Notes on the Bible

A blog by Pastor Joseph

The Journey Begins...

2010 begins a new year and a new decade. As I have considered my walk with the Lord, I have been challenged by how little I know of the Scriptures. I am not talking about 'facts', but rather how little I know of the heart of God and His will as revealed and recorded in the Bible. If I want to know God and know Him better I must read His Word.

With the goal of knowing Him I am committing myself to "Read it again in 2010". Are you up for the challenge? My prayer is that you will join me in this journey of reading through the Bible with the goal of knowing God better, and being made more like Jesus as His Word is obeyed.
