Children's Worship is a special time during the morning worship
service for children ages 4 years through Kindergarten to be
dismissed for a time of worship at their level. Their time together
is designed to help prepare them to understand and participate in
the full sanctuary worship service when they enter 1st
grade. They learn about the elements of corporate worship through:
fellowship, singing, praying, hearing and participating in
Scripture readings, listening to Bible lessons that follow the
liturgical church year, and doing activities that reinforce the
main theme of the lesson. At the end of each summer, parents join
the children for a celebration of finishing the church-year clock,
and the children who are moving into first grade have a small
"graduation" ceremony.
Children's Worship meets in Rooms 2/3.
