The follower of Jesus will be empowered by God through the Holy Spirit and will receive the grace and life that comes through Jesus-and in this there is great hope! And yet, we recognize that this process will not be completed in this life-we will always battle with our sin until the day that we go to be with our Lord and Savior for eternity. We will, in this life, constantly need to be forgiven, constantly need to be molded and shaped further. We will win battles but as we move on we will find that the enemy is still active in other areas of our life.
